I really enjoy the "weight" of the sound implied by the animation of the type. As well as the transition from line to line. By turning a page the type is "wiped" away thus allowing for a comfortable experience for the viewers eye to be lead on to a blank slate for the new type to grow upon.
Maybe its because I am not the fastest reader but I found it a couple of watches in order to actually read and "comprehend" the text.
For the first video I get the sense of reading a book. It takes you through the movement and experience of reading.
I think it is a little too fast at the end of the poem. I also think that it could possibly take you through the entire reading experience.
For the second poem I get the same concept as the first.
I think that you could have explored different ways of trying to get across the experience of reading. I do think that the pacing is better on the second poem. I think some of the intense zooms are a bit distracting. When I think of reading I think of subtle, fluent movements.
