Digital Spectacle! Book

Additional Cover Variations.
The first three are color variations of the cover above. Vintage circus posters used slanted type for their designs. While this appears to be kitsch it has become a noticeable feature found in circus related items. The final variation is a more formal, while relying on the typeface for the circus feel.

  1. Compositions look good! The only thing I want you to address is that the white background seems arbitrary and disconnected from the form and concept. Try a few different options.

Cover text is fine but aesthetically the cover needs much more work. You're pixel pushing one idea that isn't working.

  2. I've experimented with colors behind the images and I have uploaded pictures of them in a new post. I think the colors unite the color palette throughout the book while adding more circus-like aesthetic qualities.

I also made a new cover that is set up as a vintage circus poster to complete the circus experience.
